Accessibility statement

Commitment

Tabaconda LLC intends Orlando Ladybug to be usable by people of all abilities. The aim is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and the pages keep being improved when a barrier is found.

What is in place

Semantic HTML. Headings, landmarks, skip link to main, and tables with captions on the year plate and worksheets.

Keyboard. Header, tabs, quiz choices, catalog cards, and flipbook tools are meant to work from the keyboard. Kids tabs use tablist roles. Catalog lookup supports arrow keys in the card grid.

Text alternatives. Original crate stills and the mark carry empty or descriptive alt text so they do not dump filename junk into a screen reader. Decorative sprites are hidden from assistive technology.

Colour. Cream type on leaf, ink on cream, and red as an accent. Contrast is checked as pages ship; report a fail if a control disappears.

Printables. Worksheet HTML is US Letter. If a sheet clips or the type is too small, name the file (WS-LB-01 through WS-LB-06) in the note.

Language. Field English, cited to UF/IFAS. Lessons are not a slogan row.

Known limits

The flipbook and postcard editors are canvas-and-script tools. They have labelled buttons, but a full screen-reader walkthrough of every draw handle is not claimed. If a print path fails with a keyboard or a reader, write and say which tab — Sheets, Quiz, Flipbook, Fold, or Catalog print.

How to report a barrier

  1. Copy the address bar of the page that failed.
  2. Say what you were trying to do — print a sheet, take a quiz, open a lesson, look up a plant.
  3. Send the note to sales@tabaconda.com.
